Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident on Wednesday, one person was killed, and three others were injured after being attacked by a raging bull in Chamarigola village, which falls under the jurisdiction of Salepur police station in Cuttack district.
According to reports, a mad bull had been causing fear among residents of Chamarigola village for the past few days by terrorising them.
On Wednesday, the bull chased and attacked four villagers, resulting in injuries to all of them. In which one elderly villager sustained fatal injuries.
The deceased villager has been identified as Prasanna Kumar Das of Chamarigola village.
Injured individuals are Prabhanjan Das, Kaibalya Rout, and Laxmidhar Nayak, all from the same village.
The injured villagers were admitted to the SCB Hospital, Cuttack. At the hospital, Prasanna succumbed to his injuries, while the other two, who sustained minor injuries, returned home after receiving treatment.
Agitated by the turmoil caused by the mad bull, villagers have demanded that the administration should immediately capture the bull before it causes further harm.
