Bhubaneswar: A four-month-old baby girl died after being bitten by a venomous snake at Ratuan village under Anandapur block in Keonjhar district in the wee hours of Saturday.
According to sources, the baby girl was asleep in her mother’s lap when she was bitten by the snake. As she started crying, her parents woke up. They rushed the baby girl to Anandapur Hospital where she was declared dead.
The infant’s death has shattered her parents.
