Jajpur: A youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Bhagabanpur village under Dharmasala police limits in Jajpur district, on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Ajay Samal’s son Pabitra Samal (24), a resident of Arabala village.
According to his father, Pabitra took his dinner and went to bed last night. When I woke up today, one of my friends called me and gave me his death news. Pabitra’s bike, wallet and Aadhaar card were found lying near the body. He was killed over a love affair.
Demanding stringent action against the accused involved in Pabitra’s alleged murder, villagers including Pabitra’s family members staged a protest by blocking Baruhan-Balichandrapur Road.
Acting on a tip-off, Dharmasala police rushed to the spot and pacified the villagers.
