Bhubaneswar: Pulling of the Brahma Taladhwaja chariot of Baladevjew temple in Kendrapara halted midway after it veered off track on Monday.

According to sources, though Taladhwaja chariot was pulled on time, it could not be pulled after it met with an unfortunate mishap. Chariot pulling was halted near the Endowment office as it veered off the track.

Despite repeated efforts, the district administration failed to bring it to track.  The administration then took the help of a railway hydraulic jack.

Following the development, the servitors and the district administrations decided to stop the pulling of the chariot. The chariot will be pulled again tomorrow. It has also been decided that not more than 35 servitors will be present on the chariot during pulling.
