Bhubaneswar: Odisha government today effected a major reshuffle in the senior IAS cadre.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration & Public Grievances (GA&PG) Department on Wednesday, 1993 batch IAS officer Nikunja Blhari Dhal, Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister, Odisha is allowed to remain in additional charge of Chairman, IDCO, Bhubaneswar. The notification added that the additional appointment of IAS officer Hemant Sharma as Chairman, IDCO shall stand terminated from the date Dhal takes over.
Similarly, 1993 batch IAS officer Surendra Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary to Government, G.A. & P.G. Department with additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Tourism Department is allowed to remain in additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Parliamentary Affairs Department. The additional appointment of IAS officer G. Mathivathanan, as Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Parliamentary Affairs Department shall stand terminated from the date Kumar takes over.
Besides, 1994 batch G. Mathivathanan, Additional Chief Secretary to Government, H & UD Department is appointed as Director General, Training Co-ordination, Gopabandhu Academy of Administration, Bhubaneswar. The additional appointment of IAS officer Anu Garg as Director General, Training Co-ordination, Gopabandhu Academy of Administration shall stand terminated from the date Mathivathanan takes over.
Hemant Sharma, Principal Secretary to Government, Industries Department with additional charge of Chairman, IPICOL is allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary to Government, MS & ME Department.
The additional appointment of Saswat Mishra as Principal Secretary to Government, MS & ME Department shall stand terminated from the date Sharma, takes over.
Saswat Mishra, Principal Secretary to Governor with additional charge of Chairman, OSSSC is allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary to Government, Finance Department and Principal Secretary to Government, Energy Department.
The additional appointment of Vishal Kumar Dev as Principal Secretary to Government, Energy Department shall stand terminated from the date Mishra, takes over.
Usha Padhee, Principal Secretary to Government, SD & TE Department with additional charge of Principal Secretary to Government, C & T Department is allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary to Government, Housing & Urban Development Department.
Vishal Kumar Dev, Principal Secretary to Government, Finance Department with additional charge of Chairman, GRIDCO and Principal Secretary to Government, E & IT Department is appointed as Principal Secretary to Government, E & IT Department. He is allowed to remain in additional charge of Chairman, OFDC.
Bhaskar Jyoti Sarma, Commissioner, Land Records & Settlement is appointed as Commissioner-aim-Secretary to Government, Sports & Youth Services Department. The additional appointment of R. Vineel Krishna as Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government, Sports & YS Department shall stand terminated from the date Sarma takes over.
Vineel Krishna, Special Secretary to Chief Minister, Odisha is appointed as Commissioner, Land Records & Settlement, Odisha. The post of Commissioner, Land Records & Settlement, Odisha is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government provided in the IAS cadre of the State.
