Thieves Ransack 15 Houses In Sundargarh, Steal Valuables Worth Rs 45 Lakh

Sundargarh: A group of thieves ransacked more than 15 houses, stealing valuables worth Rs 45 lakh from staff quarters located in Rungta Mines colony, Sanindpur, Sundargarh district.

According to reports, the thieves jumped over the fences and entered the houses by cutting open the door locks. They then stole jewellery and valuables worth Rs 40 lakh, along with a cash amount of Rs 5 lakh, from 15 different houses within the colony.

The incident occurred on Friday night while the company staff and residents were on leave.

On being informed, the Koira police officials arrived at the spot, along with a scientific team, and started an investigation into the matter.

No traces of the thieves were found.
