Bhubaneswar: The Spanish team dominated the European Championship, defeating England 2-1 in a nail-biting second half in Euro 2024 on Sunday in Berlin.
By winning their fourth Euro Cup series, Spain has made history, becoming the most successful soccer team in the tournament’s history.
Spain’s previous victories in the Euro Cup were recorded in 1964, 2008, and 2012. Previously, Germany had dominated the championship with three wins.
Spain’s Nico Williams, a standout performer in the tournament, scored a clever goal early in the second half, expertly converting a precise pass from 17-year-old sensation Lamine Yamal into the bottom corner.
However, England’s Cole Palmer levelled the score midway through the second half with a stunning left-footed strike from outside the box, showcasing his impressive technique and power at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.
