CM Majhi Directs To Oppose Projects That Are Against Odisha’s Interest

Bhubaneswar: The Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has directed to fully oppose all the projects that are against Odisha’s interests, affect the livelihood of the people of Odisha and endanger the environment of Odisha.

Majhi issued the directive during a review of the inter-state irrigation projects related to Odisha at Lok Seva Bhawan, an official press release said.

The Chief Minister said that the interest of the people of Odisha is foremost for his government.

Development Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary, Water Resources Department Anu Garg presented detailed information to the Chief Minister regarding various inter-state projects related to Odisha.

Inter-state projects such as Mahanadi, Vamsadhara, Polavaram etc were discussed during the review meeting.
