Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident, 7 passengers sustained critical injuries after a private bus collided with a tree near Putura village, coming under the jurisdiction of Singla police station in Balasore district on Monday.
As per reports, the private bus, carrying 30 passengers on board, was headed towards Baliapal in Balasore when the bus driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with a tree on the roadside near Putura village.
The locals upon learning about the incident, quickly rushed to the accident spot and rescued the injured passengers.
The injured were admitted to Basta Hospital for first-hand treatment. Seven individuals, including the driver, have sustained critical injuries.
The Singla police officials have seized the bus and started an investigation into the matter.
