Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted moderate to heavy rain in some regions of Mayurbhanj, Balasore, and Bhadrak districts within the next 3 hours.
Issuing a ‘Yellow Warning’, the IMD cautioned people about waterlogging, occasional poor visibility, and traffic disruptions in urban areas.
IMD, through its nowcast notification, has urged people to avoid movement in waterlogged areas and take necessary measures for drainage of excess water.
People are also advised to be vigilant about changing weather and act accordingly.
