Sundargarh: Transport Department officials imposed a hefty fine of Rs 1,22,488 on a private bus for plying without valid documents during vehicle checking near Town High School under Town Police limits in Sundargarh on Monday.
According to Transport Department officials, the private bus OD14Z6136 was fined for plying without valid Permit, Fitness Certificate, Insurance Cover, non-payment of Motor Vehicle Tax in addition to its driver not possessing a valid driving license.
