Bhubaneswar: Special Judge, Vigilance, Dhenkanal on Wednesday sentenced one Trilochan Sethi, Junior Manager (contractual), CESU, Hindol Section in Dhenkanal district to two years rigorous imprisonment (RI) and imposed a fine of Rs 50,000 after convicting for taking bribery.
Sethi who has been disengaged from service was charge-sheeted by Odisha Vigilance under section 13(2) read with 13(1)(d) and 7 of PC Act, 1988 for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 30,000 from a complainant to supply 3 phase electric connection to his Fly Ash factory.
