Husband Beats Wife To Death In Odisha’s Balasore

Balasore: In a gruesome incident, a man allegedly beat his wife to death in Odisha’s Balasore district on Monday morning.

According to reports, Sanjay Mohanty beat his wife Kavita to death in Bania village under Jaleshwar police limits in Balasore district following a fierce domestic quarrel. Police have detained Sanjay for interrogation.

Kavitha and her husband had a quarrel on Sunday over some issues. This morning when Kavitha was coming from the bathroom Sanjay brought the steel bucket from the house and started beating Kavita on the head.

Consequently, Kavitha fell unconscious. Neighbours rescued Kavitha and rushed her to a nearby hospital where the the doctor declared her dead.

Sanjay reportedly married Kavitha less than 14 years ago.
