Balasore: Excise department officials on Thursday seized 110 kgs of ganja from the Gopalpur area of Balasore district and arrested two persons in this connection.
The accused persons have been identified as Gunanidhi Bindhani and Ashok Kumar Nayak.
The contraband which was seized from Gunanidhi’s house is estimated to be valued at Rs 11 lakh.
The Excise Superintendent has informed that Gunanidhi used to procure ganja and supply it to peddlers.
Excise department teams from Balasore, Gopalpur, Nilagiri and Mobile team conducted a joint raid leading to the seizure and arrests.
