Asit Kumar Tripathy Resigns As WODC Chairman

Bhubaneswar: Asit Kumar Tripathy has resigned as the chairman of the Western Odisha Development Council (WODC). His resignation has been accepted by the government today.

“The resignation of Asit Kumar Tripathy, chairman of the Western Odisha Development Council (WODC) under the administrative control of P&C department is hereby accepted with effect from August 17,” an order issued by the Planning and Convergence Department stated.

Tripathy, a former chief secretary of Odisha, had been in the position since 2020.

In December 2020, he was appointed as the chairman of the Western Odisha Development Council (WODC).
