Bhubaneswar: The regional office of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Bhubaneswar has warned that light to moderate rain/thunderstorms accompanied by lighting are very likely in some parts of Angul, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Nayagarh, Puri, Khordha (including Bhubaneswar), Cuttack (including Cuttack city), and Gajapati within the next three hours. a yellow warning for rain has been issued for these districts.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
