2.35 Lakh Tourists Visited Chandaka-Dompara Sanctuary In Last 3 Years

Bhubaneswar: Over two lakh tourists have visited Chandaka-Dompara Sanctuary in the last three fiscals.

In a written response to a query from BJD MLA from Jatani Bibhuti Bhusan Balabantaray, Forest, Environment and Climate Change Minister Ganesh Ram Singkhuntia informed that a total of 2,35,199 tourists have visited Chandaka-Dompara Sanctuary in the last three financial years from 2021-22 to 2023-24.

As per the data shared by the Minister in his reply, while 50,515 tourists visited the sanctuary in 2021-22, 88,731 visited in 2022-23 and 95,953 in 2023-24.
