Police Recover Man’s Body From Near Lingaraj Station In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Locals spotted the body of a man near Lingaraj railway station in Bhubaneswar on Friday morning. The deceased has been identified as Naba Nayak of Narayana slum in Unit 8 area.

According reports, the body was found in bushes with a rope around the neck with some injury marks. The rope was tied to an iron fence of an electric sub-station close to the station.

Family sources said that Naba Nayak had left home on Thursday night after a quarrel with some people of his slum.

Airfield police have seized the body and sent it to Capital Hospital for autopsy. A scientific team reached the spot to collect evidence.

Till now, it could not be ascertained whether Naba Nayak committed suicide or he was murdered and his body dumped near the railway station.
