Bhubaneswar: Odisha government is going to start PhD courses for medical students for the first time in the State. Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling hailed it as a significant achievement.
To enhance healthcare education, research, and management, Odisha University of Health Sciences signed MoUs with AIIMS Bhubaneswar,Sri Sri University, IIT Bhubaneswar, XIMB Bhubaneswar.
Additional partnerships are expected with PGIMER Chandigarh, JIPMER Pondicherry, SGPGI Lucknow, and others, said an official release.
Odisha University of Health Sciences will also collaborate with renowned academicians, including Dr. Yogesh Vashist (Germany), Prof. Anil Agarwal (Delhi), Prof. Gitanjali Batmanabane (Vizag), and Prof. Vikram Kate (JIPMER Pondicherry).
These partnerships aim to upgrade student education, research, and knowledge exchange between teachers and students, paving the way for integrated studies and innovative programs in health education and research.
