Rain To Lash 10 Odisha Dists Including Cuttack & Bhubaneswar Within Next 3 Hrs

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast rain or thundershower in 10 districts of Odisha including the cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar within next three hours in a nowcast warning issued at 8.45 PM on Thursday.

“Light to moderate rain/thundershower likely to affect some parts of districts of Jajpur, Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Balasore, Bargarh, Sundargarh, Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Khordha (including Bhubaneswar city) and Puri within next three hours,” said the nowcast warning issued by the IMD’s Meteorological Centre here at 8.45 PM today.

The IMD has issued a ‘Yellow’ alert for these places.

The weather agency has advised people to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places.
