Cuttack Youth Ends Life After Losing Substantial Money In Online Games

Cuttack: In a tragic incident, a youth ended his life in Baniya Sahi in Odisha’s Cuttack district unable to bear losses in online games.

The deceased has been identified as Manoj Karaj of Baniya Sahi of Salepur area.

According to reports, Manoj was addicted to online games and he lost substantial money in the process. He also took loans from several people but lost that money too. Under pressure to repay the loans, Manoj left home three days back without informing any family member. Manoj’s family searched for his whereabouts and eventually lodged a missing person’s complaint with the police, who found his body hanging from a tree on Thursday morning.

While Fire Services personnel recovered his body, police have launched an investigation into the unnatural death.
