Bhubaneswar: The Development Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary of the Water Resources Department Anu Garg on Saturday reviewed the post-cyclone situation in the state at an emergency meeting held at the Secha Sadan of the Water Resources Department.
Senior officials of the Water Resources Department and district-level nodal officers, who are camping in the affected districts, attended the meeting. The officials were directed to coordinate with the district administration and take necessary measures to control possible flooding.
The meeting follows the recent heavy rainfall caused by cyclone Dana which has affected several districts in the state. The government is taking proactive measures to mitigate the situation and provide relief to people in the affected area.
