Bhubaneswar: Dr Dibakar Sahu, Associate Professor at the Department of Pulmonary Medicine, AIIMS Raipur, has brought pride to the institution by presenting a groundbreaking research paper at the prestigious World Congress on Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology (WABIP), held in Bali, Indonesia.
The paper, titled ‘Evaluation of Mediastinal Lymphadenopathy in Patients with Lung Cancer Using Endobronchial Ultrasound-Guided Transbronchial Needle Aspiration (EBUS-TBNA),’ was well received and garnered significant appreciation from both the judges and the delegates.
The research highlights the advancements made in diagnosing and managing mediastinal lymphadenopathy in lung cancer patients, emphasising the importance of EBUS-TBNA as a minimally invasive and highly effective diagnostic tool.
Dr Sahu’s research is the result of extensive work done at AIIMS Raipur and the presentation at WABIP 2024 showcased the institute’s dedication to cutting-edge medical research on a global platform.
