Bhadrak: A man was critically injured after being shot by unknown miscreants at Kishore Prasad village under Dhamra police station in Bhadrak.
The young man, Rajendra Mohapatra, was shot and the miscreants fled the scene. Mohapatra has been shifted to Cuttack after receiving primary treatment at Basudevpur Health Centre in critical condition.
Additionally, the miscreants attacked another person with a ‘Bhujali’ and one person escaped the attack. The incident occurred when three youths from Koithkola area passed by the miscreants, who were consuming alcohol near a farmland in the village.
The miscreants opened fire, seriously injuring Rajendra Mohapatra with a bullet to the head. When locals heard the gunshots and approached the scene, the miscreants fired again. The Dhamara police launched investigation into the incident.
