Puri: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi, accompanied by his wife, paid a visit to the revered Jagannath Temple in Puri on Thursday.
Majhi and his wife spent around 15 minutes inside the temple, offering prayers to Lord Jagannath and other deities.
Upon arrival at the Singhdwar entrance, Majhi was warmly received with traditional ‘lagi khandaua’ by temple administrators, district administration officials and servitors. Satyabadi MLA was also present during the Chief Minister’s visit.
Additionally, BJP leaders, workers, and locals greeted Majhi during his visit. Before departing, the Chief Minister met the families affected by the Narendra firecracker explosion mishap and shopkeepers impacted by the ongoing redevelopment project at the Singhdwar entrance.
