Sambalpur: Sadar police seized 20 packets, including 2272 bottles, of Wicerex cough syrup worth around Rs 10 lakh, five vehicles and cash to the tune of Rs 17,000 during a raid on Saturday. The police also arrested 20 people in this connection and seized 11 mobile phones from their possession.
A case has been registered in this connection at the Sadar police station and further investigation is underway to uncover the supply chain.
