Bhubaneswar: On the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets (DA) to his known sources of income by Civil Supplies Officer Suresh Kumar Panigrahi, the Odisha Vigilance launched simultaneous house searches at 11 locations across Bhubaneswar, Bolangir, Subarnapur, and Bargarh.
Led by two Additional Superintendents of Police (SPs), three Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSP), seven inspectors, and supporting staff, the searches are being carried out based on warrants issued by the Special Judge of Vigilance, Bolangir.
Properties searched include Panigrahi’s residential house, office chamber, paternal house, rented flats, and business establishments, including a fly ash bricks factory and petrol pump.
- Residential house of Panigrahi at Tulasi Nagar, Bolangir town.
- His office chamber at Subarnapur.
- His paternal house at his native place in the village. Balanda, Bijepur, Dist- Bargarh.
- Rented flat No. 7BD, 2nd Tower at Mani Tribhuban, Patia, Bhubaneswar.
- Rented house of Panigrahi at Sonepur Town.
- House of his relative at Tulasi Nagar, Bolangir.
- Rented house of his relative at Flat No. 418, 5th Tower, Royal Lagoon, Patia, Bhubaneswar.
- Rented house of his cousin at Gangadhar Sahi, Bargarh.
- His Fly Ash Bricks factory and farmland at village- Balanda, Bijepur, Bargarh.
- Sidheswari Petrol Pump in the name of his cousin at Pahandi, Bijepur, Bargarh.
- House of his another relative at village- Balanda, Bijepur, Dist- Bargarh.
