The Minister, along with administrative officials, also visited Sana Gurujibhata village under Patnagarh sub-division in Bolangir and met the family members of the infant.
The incident took place at Sana Gurujibhata village under Patnagarh sub-division in Bolangir district. The mother of the newborn Arunabati Nag gave away the baby due to their inability to maintain a family of five.
Later, the infant was traced to a private hospital in Chhattisgarh’s Raipur, where her health is reported to be in critical condition.
Arunabati Nag handed over the baby to a couple, Abha Mittal and Raj Kumar Mittal from Raipur, on November 2.
