Forest Department Employee Killed In Elephant Attack, Another Critical

Kantabanji: A Forest Department employee was killed and another critically injured in an elephant attack near Bandanapali village in Kantabanji Range in Odisha’s Bolangir district on Sunday.

According to reports, para forester Prashant Nayak and fellow employee Rupesh Chhatria were attacked while they were driving the animal out of the village. Both the injured Forest Department employees were rushed to Bolangir District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) in critical condition.

Later, Rupesh Chhatriya succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.
