Dhenkanal: At least 10 school students were injured when a truck collided with the bus they were travelling in at Korian bypass on NH 55 under Sadar police station in Dhenkanal district.
The accident occurred when the truck was overtaking the bus.
The students, from a private school in the town, were on their way to attend classes when the accident occurred. The injured students have been admitted to the district headquarters hospital for treatment.
The driver of the truck fled the scene immediately after the accident. Police have arrived at the scene, detained the heavy vehicle, and launched an investigation into the incident.
