Bhubaneswar: A special rescue drive conducted by the Crime Against Women & Children Wing (CAW&CW) in Odisha from November 18 to 23, 2024, successfully reunited 334 missing children with their families.
According to an official press release, the drive covered various parts of the state and other locations across the country.
Of the rescued children, 306 were girls, and 28 were boys. Bhadrak district emerged as the best-performing district during the operation, rescuing the highest number of children—65 in total.
The mission underscored the commitment of Odisha’s law enforcement to safeguarding vulnerable children and ensuring their safe return to their families.
