Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has appointed three IPS probationers from the 2022 batch as Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs) upon completing their AET training.
The appointments were confirmed through a notification issued by the Odisha Police, State Headquarters with the approval of the Director General of Police (DGP).
Ramendra Prasad has been appointed as SDPO Baliguda in Kandhamal district, Sonali Singh Parmar as SDPO Bonai in Rourkela, and Mane Ajinkya Baburao as SDPO Sadar in Kalahandi district.
Additionally, 2021 batch IPS officer Amritpal Kaur, currently ASP Headquarters, Bolangir, has been appointed as SDPO Padampur in Bargarh district, replacing Bibhuti Bhusan Bhoi, an OPS officer. Bhoi has been attached to the Bargarh District Headquarters until further orders.
The reshuffle reflects the Odisha Police’s focus on deploying trained personnel to key positions across districts.
