Bhubaneswar: Close on the heels of the IPS officer DS Kutey’s appointment as BSF IG, three more Odisha cadre IPS officers have been directed to go on Central deputation.
According to reports, 1997-batch IPS officer Asheet Kumar Panigrahi, 1998-batch IPS officer Amitabh Thakur and 1998-batch IPS officer Rajesh Kumar will be appointed Inspector General at the Centre-Vigilance Status.
No criminal case, HRPC-related case and Vigilance case or inquiry is pending against these three IPS officers.
Before Kutey, 2004-batch Odisha-cadre IPS officer Ashish Kumar Singh was appointed as Inspector General (IG) in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) for five years.
