Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed deep grief over the demise of former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh on Thursday night.
In a message, the Chief Minister said that the late Manmohan Singh was a great son of the country. He was respected all over the world for his knowledge and skills in the field of economics. As the Finance Minister, Singh gave a new direction to the country’s economy. Due to his liberal economic policies, India started its journey as a major economy in the world. As the Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh accelerated the development of the country in various fields, said the Chief Minister, the Chief Minister wrote.
The Chief Minister said, “His wisdom, politeness, honesty and innocent nature created a different identity for him in the field of politics.”
Chief Minister expressed his condolences to the bereaved family.
