Mohana: A motorbike rider died after crashing against the boundary wall of a bridge and falling 20 feet with his vehicle near the Ledbandh in Mohana in Odisha’s Gajapati district on late Thursday night. The identity of the deceased biker is yet to be ascertained.
According to reports, locals spotted a bike falling from the bridge and informed the police and Mohana Fire Services. Fire Services personnel reached the spot and rescued the youth from under the bridge and admitted him to the hospital.
However, the doctors at the hospital declared the biker ‘brought dead’. The police have recovered the body and sent it for autopsy and are investigating the incident. They have also seized the bike that was involved in the accident.
