Bhubaneswar: The Governor-designate of Odisha, Dr Haribabu Kambampati, will take oath of office on January 3.
Dr Haribabu Kambampati will be sworn in as the 27th Governor of Odisha. The new Governor will arrive in Bhubaneswar on Thursday.
Dr Haribabu Kambhapati was appointed as the new Governor of Odisha on December 27 after the resignation of Raghubar Das. Earlier, Dr Kambhapati was the Governor of Mizoram.
Dr Haribabu Kambhapati was appointed as the 15th Governor of Mizoram on November 5, 2021. Later, the President appointed him as the 27th Governor of Odisha.
