Class IX Student Stabbed By Classmate In Balasore

Bhubaneswar: A Class IX student was allegedly stabbed by his classmate over a dispute at Dahamunda Nodal High School under Kamarda police limits in Balasore district, on Tuesday.

As per reports, Class IX student  Antia Chand was allegedly stabbed by his classmate, Binay Chand.

Antia and Binay had a heated argument yesterday, which led to a physical altercation. Today, during the school’s annual function, the argument escalated, and Binay allegedly stabbed Antia with a sharp object.

Antia was rushed to the Kamarda Medical Centre for treatment. His family has filed a complaint at the Jaleswar police station.

Police, meanwhile, detained Binay for interrogation and are investigating the matter.
