Bhubaneswar: The State government is all set to introduce a new queue management system for the darshan of deities at Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri from January 20.
Preparations have been intensified by the state government, Puri district administration, and temple administration. Devotees will enter the temple through the 6-tiered barricade and have darshan of the deities, informed Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan.
All preparations are underway. Devotees will enter in an orderly manner inside the Natmandap and have darshan of the trinity. Six-tiered barricades have been erected. The repair work of the Ratna Bhandar will be completed soon, the minister added.
As soon as the repair is completed, the inventory of the ornaments will begin next week. The new system aims to address the massive crowd visiting the shrine regularly, ensuring a smooth and serene darshan.
The temple administration is taking special measures to ensure that children, elderly devotees, and differently-abled people can have darshan of the deities comfortably.
