Bhubaneswar: The PDS beneficiaries in Odisha will lose their ration benefits if they fail to complete their e-KYC of ration card by January 31.

Odisha Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Minister Krushna Chandra Patra today appealed to the beneficiaries to complete the same by scheduled date.

Around 49 lakh ration card beneficiaries in Odisha are yet to complete their e-KYC process, according to the minister. To expedite this process, beneficiaries are urged to visit their local Electronic Public Service (EPS) outlets or ration distribution centres to complete their e-KYC.

Once all eligible beneficiaries under the Public Distribution System (PDS) have completed their e-KYC, new ration cards will be issued. To facilitate a smooth process, government officials have been instructed to assist beneficiaries living in Odisha, as well as Odias residing in other states.
