Bhubaneswar: Odisha will experience a cold wave from January 20, with night temperatures expected to drop by 2-3 degrees Celsius, according to the prediction of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
According to the forecast of regional IMD centre, most places in the state will experience temperatures ranging from 13 to 15 degrees Celsius.
Additionally, several districts, including Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Sambalpur, Sundergarh, Cuttack, Khordha, Puri, Ganjam, and Gajapati, are likely to experience dense fog on Wednesday and Thursday.
As per the IMD prediction, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Sambalpur, Sundergarh, Cuttack, Khordha, Puri, Ganjam, and Gajapati districts will experience dense fog on Thursday.
On Monday, the lowest temperature was recorded in Daringibadi at 9.5 degrees Celsius, followed by Phulbani at 11.5 degrees Celsius, Rourkela at 11.7 degrees Celsius, and Bhadrak at 12 degrees Celsius.
