Bhubaneswar: A Class IV student of Naya Bagapatia Primary School under Tamaka Police Station in Jajpur district reportedly died after falling from a swing during recess, on Saturday.
The deceased student has been identified as Somyarajan Sahu, son of Nabaghana Sahu from Naya Bagapatia village.
According to reports, Somyarajan was playing on the swing when he fell and suffered fatal injuries.
The student’s father, Nabaghana Sahu, has alleged that the teacher’s negligence led to his son’s death. An investigation into the incident is underway.
