Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police have registered yet another case against fraudster Hansita Abhilipsa for allegedly trafficking young girls to people of influence, including businessmen, politicians and bureaucrats.

The Infocity Police registered the fresh case against Hansita Abhilipsa under Sections 120-B of IPC 1860, 67 of Information Technology Act 2000 and Section 5 of the Immortal Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956, on the complaint registered by Manash Kumar Swain, a Special Crime Unit officer who is investigating the case.

Swain filed the complaint after finding photos and videos of several girls, including some Russians, in the laptop and mobile phones of Hansita Abhilipsa during investigation.

During the investigation, police came across Hansita’s WhatsApp chats with several girls and their audio recordings. Police allege that she trafficed girls from several Indian cities and Russia facilitate business agreements or secure political leverage.

According to reports, Hansita’s sent girls to influential people to satisfy her potential targets, to finally grab a deal or get a tender passed in her favour.

Earlier on January 17, the Infocity Police had filed a case against her for allegedly furnishing false information in her passport and intimated the Bhubaneswar JMFC-2 court about it.

It is to be noted here that the Infocity police arrested Hansita Abhilipsa and Anil Kumar Mohanty on December 30, 2024, on charges of duping several people by posing as the daughter and son-in-law of PK Mishra, the Principal Secretary to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
