Bhubaneswar: The Pathani Samanta Planetarium in Bhubaneswar is all set to offer stargazers a unique opportunity to witness the rare ‘Parade of Planets’ phenomenon from today to January 31.
This spectacular event will feature the alignment of six planets – Mars, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus – across the night sky.
According to reports, the planetarium, under the Department of Science & Technology, has made necessary arrangements for visitors to observe this rare event. While planets like Mars, Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn can be seen with the naked eye, Neptune and Uranus can be observed through binoculars and telescopes.
Visitors can witness the ‘Parade of Planets’ on all days, except Monday, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The planetarium invites all astronomy enthusiasts and skygazers to take advantage of this rare opportunity to observe the celestial spectacle.
