Bhubaneswar: Isolated dense fog is likely to occur at one or two places in the districts of Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khordha, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, and Angul over the next 24 hours, according to the midday weather bulletin issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD)’s Bhubaneswar Centre on Saturday. A ‘Yellow’ warning has been issued for these districts.
Similarly, shallow to moderate fog is expected during the early morning hours at a few places in the districts of Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Bhadrak, Balasore, Jajpur, Cuttack, Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Ganjam, and Gajapati, and at one or two places in Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Sundargarh, Angul, Koraput, Nuapada, and Jharsuguda during the same period. Meanwhile, dry weather is likely to prevail across Odisha, the bulletin noted.
For Bhubaneswar and its surrounding areas, the IMD has forecast fog or mist in the morning hours, followed by a mainly clear sky later in the day. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 31°C and 18°C, respectively.
