Dense Fog Likely To Engulf 10 Odisha Districts Tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued yellow warnings for dense fog to 10 districts tomorrow.

As per IMD prediction, districts likely to be affected by dense fog on Saturday are Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal and Ganjam.

The weather office has predicted shallow to moderate fog to occur during early morning hours in several districts of Odisha.

“Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur during early morning hours at a few places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Ganjam and at one or two places over the districts of Puri, Khurda, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Sundargarh, Mayurbhanj, Nayagarh and Koraput”, read the IMD prediction for Saturday.

According to the IMD forecast for February 2, dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack and Jagatsinghpur.

“Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur during early morning hours at a few places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur and at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Khurda, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Nayagarh”, reads the IMD prediction for February 2.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a prolonged spell of dry weather across Odisha, with no significant rainfall activity expected till February 7.
