CM Majhi To Distribute Appointment Letters At Nijukti Mela Tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: Strengthening the state’s education system and creating employment opportunities remain key priorities for the Odisha government.

In line with this vision, a ‘Nijukti Mela’ (job fair) will be organized on Friday at Capital High School Ground, Unit-3, Bhubaneswar.

During the event, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will distribute appointment letters to 2,767 recruits joining the School and Mass Education Department.

Among them, 894 principals and teachers will be appointed to Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya and Odisha Mining Adarsha Vidyalaya, while 1,798 teachers from fully aided private high schools will also receive their appointment letters.

Additionally, 28 junior assistants for the Council of Higher Education, 27 junior assistants for the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, 18 junior assistants for the Secondary Education Council, and two reviewers under the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education will be appointed.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will be the Chief Guest at the event. Other dignitaries attending include Deputy Chief Minister Parvati Parida, Minister for School and Mass Education Nityananda Gond, Health & Family Welfare Minister Mukesh Mahaling, Housing and Urban Development Minister Dr. Krushna Chandra Mahapatra, and Minister for Skill Development and Technical Education Sampad Chandra Swain. Senior officials, including Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, Development Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary Anu Garg, along with Secretaries from various departments, will also be present.

The Odisha government has set an ambitious target for the state’s holistic development over the next five years.

The Nijukti Mela is being organized to accelerate Odisha’s progress through reforms, enhanced performance, and transformation. The initiative aims to create a prosperous and developed Odisha while empowering the youth to contribute to India’s growth.
