Nabarangapur: Raighar police busted a gambling racket with the arrest of 10 individuals at Khadenga under Jodinga panchayat in Nabarangpur district, late Thursday night.
As per reports, police received a tip-off about the illicit activity and raided the site, dispersing the crowd and arresting 10 individuals. The raid was carried out during the Mandei Yatra,
However, during the raid, some individuals allegedly attacked the police team, injuring a sub-inspector and the inspector-in-charge. The police have filed a case based on a written complaint from the IIC, Raghunath Majhi.
The police have arrested 10 persons in connection with the incident and are searching for other accused individuals.
