Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted dense fog to occur in several districts of Odisha for the next two days.
As per the prediction, districts going to be affected by dense fog are Nayagarh, Puri, Ganjam, and Gajapati. These districts have been yellow warning for dense fog on Saturday.
Dense fog is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nayagarh, Puri, Ganjam and Gajapati on Sunday.
Additionally, the IMD has also predicted shallow to moderate fog at a few places over the districts of Nayagarh, Puri, Ganjam, and Gajapati and at one or two places over the district of Rayagada, Koraput on Saturday.
“Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur during early morning hours at a few places over the districts of Nayagarh, Puri, Ganjam, Gajapati and at one or two places over the district of Rayagada, Koraput”, read the IMD prediction for Sunday.
Also, IMD has predicted dry weather to persist in Odisha till February 17.
