Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi arrived at Prayagraj today with his family to take a holy dip at the Maha Kumbh Mela.
Majhi expressed his gratitude and praised the arrangements made by the state government. He also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UP CM Yogi Adityanath for the event’s success. Upon arrival, Majhi was warmly received by the Uttar Pradesh Food and Civil Supplies Minister at the airport.
“I am going to Prayagraj with my family. The arrangements are very good.I thank the state government for making good arrangements. People are coming in large numbers to take a holy dip. I thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for making the mega event a success,” Majhi said.
During his visit, Majhi is scheduled to visit Ayodhya to offer prayers at the Ram Lala temple and Varanasi for darshan of Kashi Viswanath.
This visit follows the launch of special bus services from four cities in Odisha, including Puri, Sambalpur, Bhawanipatna, and Berhampur, to facilitate pilgrims’ travel to the Maha Kumbh Mela
