Bhubaneswar: The State government will conduct a survey to identify women who were deprived of the Subhadra Yojana scheme after the application process closes on March 31. A door-to-door survey of beneficiaries will be conducted to ensure no eligible applicant is left out, deputy chief minister Pravati Parida said.
After the fifth phase of the first installment, eligible beneficiaries will also receive three installments on Rakshi Purnima.
Officials will visit beneficiaries’ homes, conduct one-on-one discussions, and submit a report. Even after reaching one crore beneficiaries in five installments, rethe maining eligible beneficiaries will receive Subhadra assistance, Parida clarified.
The Deputy Chief Minister further said that tomorrow marks the fifth phase, where 1.85 lakh beneficiaries will receive the first installment. This brings the total number of beneficiaries covered in five phases to approximately 1.20 crore. With over 1.8 cr applications received so far, the government will close the application process on March 31 and commence the survey.
Eligible beneficiaries who have not received their applications will be surveyed individually, and those eligible will receive all three installments together on Rakshi Purnima. The fifth phase of the first installment will be disbursed tomorrow, followed by the second installment on March 8.
